Computer and Video-game Collection
NEC Turbo Duo
NEC Turbo Duo Console

So here you can see the U.S.version Turbo Duo, "Multimedia CD-Rom Entertainment System", with three joy-pads, the five player interface (if you don't have it, the console itself can only connect to one pad!) and the respective packagings and manuals.

Here you can see the HuCARD slot, and what the cards look like.

And here is a picture of the CD drive. It was also available as external unit add-on for the normal PC-Engine console. Of course you can play audio CD's on it as well.

The console has to be modified to play HuCARDs from different countries (so: U.S. model can only play U.S. cards). Mine had this nice switch on its back. CD based games had no region protection.

The Super CD-ROM² System Version 3.00 boot screen. As you can see Hudson Soft was deeply involved.
GAMES
The japanese HuCARDs get delivered in jewel cases. The CD based games usually came with obi strips, but I never had one of them even.
